Our Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils

My husband and I love these essential oils and we use them on an almost daily bases.  We have both had some amazing results in curing our own personal and client ailments and have found that these oils can work incredibly fast.  This is why we have decided to start selling these oils and sharing the knowledge of how to use them for better everyday health.

Lavender Kashmir – Organic  Botanial Name: Lavandula Angustifolia  Origin: Kashmir   Family: Lamiaceae
Method of Extraction: Steam Distillation (SD) Source: Flowering tops
Description and Uses: In general, Lavender is the most versatile of essential oils. It is relaxing and refreshing, uplifts the spirits, and helps to relieve the distress of muscle pain. NO home should be without it. Lavender balances your body and mind, calming or uplifting according to your body's needs. Excellent for refreshing sore muscles, tired feet and relieving stress. Add a drop to your pillow/sheets for a truly peaceful sleep. Lavender treats burns and reduces scarring; it's one of the few oils that can be applied neat in small amounts on burns (although care still needs to be taken). Lavender blends with many other oils. Traditionally, it's been used as a muscle relaxant, soothing agent, skin conditioner, and astringent.

Marjoram, Sweet  –  Botanical Name: Origanum majorana, Majorana hortensis Origin: Egypt

Family: Lamiaceae [Labiatae] Method of Extraction: Steam distilled Source: Flowering top Blends Well With: Cedarwood, chamomile, cypress, lavender, mandarin, orange, nutmeg, rosemary, ylang ylang, eucalyptus, and thyme
Description and Uses: Organic Sweet Marjoram is a calming, soothing oil that has a warming effect on both mind and body. It helps to relieve the miseries of the common cold, including congestion, muscle aches and pains, and is also comforting in times of stress. Marjoram is useful for tired, achy muscles and for massaging on the lower abdomen during menstruation. Also used to regulate the nervous system and treat insomnia. Marjoram is pleasant in a hot bath, especially blended with Lavender.
Cautions: Care must be taken due to its sedative action - use sparingly! Avoid during pregnancy.

First Hand Experience: I have used this oil with great success for menstrual cramps.  It works faster than pain meds and its safer to.  My husband uses this oil for leg cramps.  He just puts two to three drops on the cramping muscle, massages it in, and within less than a minute the cramp is gone and doesn’t come back.

We also use Basil in combination with the Marjoram as it has very similar effects and compliment each other nicely.

Peppermint – Organic  Botanical Name: Mentha piperita Origin: U.S.A Family: Lamiaceae (Labiatae) Method of Extraction: Steam distilled Source: Aerial parts Blends Well With: Bergamot, geranium, lavender, marjoram, rosemary, sandalwood Description and Uses: Peppermint is an energizing oil with a penetrating, minty aroma that helps to relieve both mental and physical fatigue. Use it in the daytime, as its energizing effect may keep you awake at night. Add to a massage blend for digestive problems and flatulence. Peppermint is soothing in a footbath after a long day on your feet, and one drop on a handkerchief is reviving during travel. This is also a great oil to use in a car diffuser for long trips.
Blended with Rosemary and Juniper, it makes an excellent morning bath. Peppermint is also extremely helpful for headaches, sinus congestion, and in treating sore muscles and joints.
Traditional use: insect repellent, emollient, antiseptic, muscle relaxant
Cautions: Can cause skin irritation. Do not use Peppermint when pregnant.

First Hand Experience: If you get cold sores then this is the oil to use.  My husband has four or five spots on his lips where he gets those unpleasant little blisters.  The last time he had one, it had come up to a full-on blister just about to get to the scab phase when we decided to put some Peppermint oil on just to see what effect it would have.  He put the oil on about three times that day and by evening the next day the blister was gone!  No scab, and no sore, it was just gone.  That was about June 2008.  We want to try putting the Peppermint on again just to see if the results are the same but he hasn’t had another outbreak.

I have used the Peppermint for headaches and have had them leave within a minute or two.  I just put a drop or two on my hand and rub it into my temples, across my forehead just below the hair line, (CAUTION Keep this and any other essential oil out of the eyes!) and the back of my neck.

But keep in mind that headaches have many causes and Peppermint may not relieve all types, however, it works for me so that is what I use.
